Before I hired him, Pete spent about 1/2 hour on the phone with me explaining his services, recommended inspections and the fee structure. I made my decision, feeling like I had hired the right guy for the job. When he showed up and started working, I KNEW I had hired the right guy. He was exceedingly thorough and left no stone unturned, door or window unexamined, no electrical wire, box or connection unexamined. It seemed like he went over every inch of the house inside and out, plus the grounds, the related utility connections. He was excellent about explaining his procedure and calling things to my attention he wanted me to understand. He was also terrific with the elderly owner/occupant of the house, who couldn't leave because of health reasons. He was polite, asked her permission to access certain places. We were all impressed with his manner, and his extreme focus. I had an extensive report the next day (I think he must not have slept!) and he called to follow up with questions and to ensure I had everything I needed. I cannot imagine there is a more thorough inspector on the planet with an excellent disposition and follow up and a very fair price.

Pete had a quick response time and communicated professionally and intelligently. He is knowledgeable in his field and is obviously very passionate about his work. I was impressed by his friendly disposition and laser focus.

I hired Pete to inspect a 120+ year old farmhouse, which I ultimately purchased. He was exceedingly thorough-- as he was on the premises for several hours. I also opted to have additional water and gas testing.

The final 350-page report with photos was prepared and emailed to me promptly. His work was complete with in-depth descriptions, observations, and recommendations. Pete was readily available to answer all of my questions and even followed up with me multiple times after inspection day!

I don't know how exactly to start this review without genuinely expressing that you are missing out if Pete isn't your home inspector.

My husband and I are a young couple who just bought our first home. Once we had our accepted offer it was time for inspection and I wasn't quite sure where to start. I looked on a Facebook moms page for some recommendations but the inspector I ended up calling didn't service my area and he highly recommend Pete. He actually took the home inspection course through Pete.

From the moment I spoke to Pete for the first time, I knew he was our guy. As a new home buyer and honestly pretty nervous about the whole process, he was a guiding light filled with knowledge and positivity. His energy was refreshing. He was responsive, attentive, detail-oriented, and takes pride in what he does. The proof is all in his professionalism, experience, and excitement for what he does.

Pete talked and walked us through the entire process of what to expect and what services he would be providing. He kept us extremely informed. He was easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. He came out on a holiday weekend to accommodate us for our inspection. He was punctual and very thorough - our realtor even commented that she'd never seen an inspector like him. He took his time and did his job. After his inspection, we did an entire walk-through with Pete. In just a day or two, we had a 300-page inspection with no stone unturned.

I'm not too sure what we would have done without him. We trusted him and his expertise. He was hands down the best part of our home-buying process besides actually getting the home! We reached out to Pete multiple times to ask follow up questions and he was always so willing to answer any and all questions no matter how many times we called. Even after we closed on our house he came back to take a look at some things we had questions about.

Mr. Pete Damiano provided a comprehensive, clear, and complete report on the home inspection he conducted. He takes his time conducting the inspection and graciously will walk you to summarize his findings. The methodology that he follows is to provide a review of his findings based on the sections that the report will illustrate. I had done my research on inspectors, and I knew we had found one of the best in the industry. He makes you aware of the conditions of the home and also provides his professional recommendations.
